Yes, they should have found a way to get it done but that doesn't suddenly mean the Yankees were not the BIGGEST disappointment in baseball this year!!!!

On top of everything else, I don't get to enjoy seeing the Yankees flop in the playoffs again because they couldn't even make the post-season this year. If that wasn't bad enough, they had the nerve to be eliminated before my team was!

Posts: 386 09/28/08 19:59:48	Wahhhhhh...Talk all you want about the Yankees. The Mets control their own playoff destiny and they choked for the 2nd year in a row to a team with the lowest payroll. Not once, but twice to the same team. I love the fan support in the bottom of the 9th inning. The stadium PA system was pumping a rally drumbeat and the fans stood there quietly. When there finally was a man on first, the crowd woke up again. Just to see ball a deep pop fly ball being caught by the outfielder.
