In today's New York Daily News (April 15, 2008, pg. 11) columnist Micheal Daly tries to extricate himself from the disgraceful debacle, that he along with
his accomplice Denis Hammil helped to inflame and give legs to. "The case seemed... simple back when the news broke out that cops had fired 50 bullets at
three unarmed young men." Okay Michael, let me get this straight; you are publicly admitting that you thought this case was
SIMPLE??????? The only information you had in the first few days of this was there was 50 shots and one of the "victims" (hardened
ex-cons) was getting married the next day. Why weren't you out there in Queens trying to get to the truth??? You're a reporter, are you not??
Three New York City Detectives (and believe me their families are being tried also) are now facing the possibility of losing their freedom, their
jobs, their reputations and all you can say is you, "...thought this case was simple."????
DEA President Micheal Palladino tried in vain to explain to the press the truth, and YOU shot him down! You don't remember that Michael? You already knew this case was complex, because I wrote to you and challenged you point by point. Don't you remember speaking to me on the phone for 20 minutes as I pushed for you to tell the truth????
Now you try to point a finger at Queens county ADA Charles Testagrossa saying, "...because the prosecutor did not so much build a case as simply parade witnesses through the court who repeatedly contradicted their Grand Jury testimony and interviews with prosecutors."
Micheal what are you suggesting??? The D.A. has a legal and moral obligation to see that justice is done. Are you saying the liars that want to see the cops go down the drain should be hidden??? Are you saying the D.A should coach witnesses on their testimony??? Michael, I'm sorry but maybe ADA Charles Testagrossa could not build a better case because the FACTS don't allow for it. Luckily for Det's Oliver, Cooper and Isnora they will be tried on the FACTS and not by what Daily News columnists think. Is it that you want these guys fried so badly all the stops should be pulled to get them???
One thing I can say about Charles Testagrossa that I can't say about you, Hammil, or the Daily News, is he allowed for the truth to come out by putting the liars and perps on the stand, and allow for them to be exposed. (All you and Hammil did was pile frosting high on a turd of a case) You really seem inconvienienced by the emergence of them. As if these people ruined your little 'call for justice'. Sorry, but you're just going to have to find another cause. But what I still can't understand is your way of describing the 'victims'. Bell and Co. were thugs, hardened ex-cons, why do you constantly refer to them as, "...three unarmed young men."? Why are you afraid to say the truth?
Finally Michael, the bullets don't tell the complete story here. The story has aready been told by the prosecutions own witnesses. Bell and Co started this and the police ended it. Pissy drunk ex-cons should always think twice about getting into street brawls.

The city and hand wrenching liberals leaders of the city are afraid of a riot if
they are found innocent?? Well, how about a riot when the mutts find out that there are no cops around to quell the rabble looting 5th Ave??
