Posts: 1067 04/26/08 08:28:21	Tags : None I walk out of a courthouse after some thug is found not guilty for a shooting or a robbery or a CPW charge and there are protesters out there who are outraged that a guy caught on tape doing a robbery can be found not guilty or a mutt caught with a gun in his hand by a anti-crime cop can be found not guilty or some mope who shot a kid in a playground can be found not guilty. I am still waiting for the day protesters descend on a housing project where there has been a murder and show their outrage because no one is helping the police find the killer. I am still waiting for the day when protesters start marching on the homes of drug dealers. I have a feeling I am going to be waiting for a very very long time.

Posts: 1675 04/26/08 12:25:08	Yes...You are going to be waiting a long time. Black on Black crime is just getting bigger every year. The biggest losers are the next generation of black children. When the family system breaks down and you start blaming the police for your failures, you are bound to fail. There are 500,000 + arrests a year in this city, with hundreds of thousands of police encounters with the public. With only a a handful of tragic encounters, those are not bad numbers. The average citizen of this city does not deal drugs and do not ram police cars. ( Bell had been arrested three times, twice for drug dealing and once for a firearms possession. Guzman and Benefeld had lenghty criminal records with both having illegal firearm possessions arrests.) The average citizen, for the most part deal with the police when they need help.

Posts: 1067 04/27/08 14:47:57	The NYPD is the most restrained Department in the US when it comes to the use of Deadly Physical Force, but if you listed to people like Fat Al, you would think we are ging around putting bullets in the back of peoples heads everyday. The black on black violence will continue because people like Fat Al work so hard to make sure that violent black neighborhoods stay violent so that there is these once every five year contriversion police shooting they can make some money off of.
