1. I miss the fights between EXLIEUT and RETURNGUY, those were some funny fihts
2. He had anger management issues but was a great photo shopper so I miss ACS' pictures especially the one with Bloomturd holding a popeye puppet.
3. I never did find out why he left but I do miss ProudPD who sometimes pontificated a bit too much but he was a Rant Anchor.
4. I miss Action Trooper's posting and sense of humor. Too bad he was stalked off this site by another ranter.
5. There was a period in 2005 when the rant was out of control and hilarious with the likes of TBTADAWG, ChiefAssome, Delete France, CapriceRMP, Kingsixx, det craker and other characters whose names escape me. I miss those funny times.
6. Copsychdoc had to be a mental health provider in order to put up with all of the abuse he got. I do not know what finally drove him off but I miss seeing him take all the abuse that the rant members could muster.
7. I miss the snide remarks by NYCTPF to a ranter he often referred to as Kerik's lap dog or poodle. I think KillerKane was his name.
8. I miss the angry rants of Kimco2005 who took so much abuse about being 98 lbs that she was rarely seen or heard from again after the summer of 2006.
9. The golden age of the rant was when IMTOOL and his crew were at their peak-do not really know how or why the crew disbanded but I miss them, I laughed my butt off every day with the crazy posts. There was another character called the Midnight Ring who also stirred the pot against IMTOOL.
10. Who can forget the females of the rant who seem to have completely disappeared There was Late Tour Female MOS,Cheryl60DVO, Brooklyn Blue who was banned by Ed after someone told him she was a male (she turned out to be Kingsixx's girlfriend) there were other memorable ones such as magic triangle, stiff nipples, admpog, Perp kicker andNYPDRookie's mom, I even remember a girl calling herself PrincessXLISE,
11. I can think of a lot of memorable ranters who have not been seen in years. Mattythecop, Imbackontherant, Milton, USMCtoNYPD,5yrvet,3rdgenpd,ryanpax,threefourths,3quarters,joeytreats, squadboss, I can't means I wont and a whole host of others who come to mind from time to time but who I can't remember right now. I miss the variety of posts.
12. ZGULP! Who can forget that guy, he actually showed up on the NYTimes article that mentioned the rant. There was also the ranter who claimed he went to Hicksville to his Friend's house and caught the Mexican doing the wife only to get busted by another ranter who found the same BS story on craigslist I forget his name.
13. I miss Ed Polecat's rant about all the people otj who had gotten away with murder while he got crucified-his signature line "oh ray I cannot wait for the trial".
14. There was the detective union "prisoner" who ranted on here and predicted that the DEA contract would never be approved by the membership and then it was passed by a landslide. I miss his seeing how convinced he was about his prediction.
15. I miss the old rant where you did not even need a password to post. I first heard about the rant from Levitt who published an article about Lori Gunn's run in with a certain MTN Summons Cop. I miss those days
