About the JobINVESTIGATOR - Confidential
The NYC Department of Education is seeking qualified Confidential Investigators to work in the Office of Pupil Transportation. Selected candidates will manage investigations in the area of student transportation, prepare reports and make recommendations to the Director. The position is highly sensitive in nature and requires candidates to have extensive experience with investigative duties of a delicate nature.
The minimum selection criteria includes a baccalaureate degree from a college/university recognized by New York State plus three years of satisfactory full-time experience with a government agency, large business, educational or civic organizational auditing, methods or systems analysis; or an Associate degree plus five years of experience as described above: or a high school diploma or legal equivalent plus seven years of experience as described above or post graduate or special educational training in the areas mentioned above may be substituted for up to two years of required experience.
The salary for this position is $50,322+.
