Just after 7 a.m. today, the driver of an Accura SUV going north on the Bronx River Parkway lost control and hit a divider embankment, cops said. The vehicle then bounced through two lanes of traffic and plunged 20 feet down over a guard rail, landing on a pickup truck in a parking lot. The driver, a 28-year-old man, and a passenger, a 22-year-old woman, are being treated at Jacobi Hospital. Authorities say their injuries are not life-threatening. A rising Bronx political star spectacularly nose-dived his car yesterday off a 30-foot-high section of the Bronx River Parkway, falling onto a truck in West Farms. "It looked like a plane," a witness said. Miraculously, Bronx Democratic male district leader Michael Robles, 28, and a 22-year-old gal pal survived the death-defying crash virtually unscathed. Robles was bickering with his passenger before the 7:30 a.m. crash, said sources. He lost control, struck a median, swerved across two lanes of traffic, flew through a chain-link fence and sailed into the air. The Acura landed with a frightening thud atop of a GMC pickup truck on East 180th Street. Robles said God kept him alive. "He's the only one who could save me and He did today," said Robles.
