A fund is being set up by the five police unions to benefit the Members of the Service who have suffered losses from Hurricane Sandy. The tally at this time is approximately 1,500 NYPD MOS who have suffered varying degrees of loss. *Donations can be made payable to --* “*NY Police Disaster Relief Fund, Inc.”* *and forwarded to the attention of --* *The DEA* *Attn: Michael J. Posts: 409 Nov 24 12 2:41 AM	I know that of us are making cash and clothing donations to MOS that were effected by the storm, but do some of these Officers need any NYPD uniforms? I know that most guys keep their three lockers at work stocked with uniforms and other PD stuff. I read that some Pct's got flooded out. I"m recently retired and I still have a lot of NYPD Uniform shirts and other PD stuff that I can give to Officers that had stuff destroyed or lost. Let me know if anybody hears anything? Keep seeing all these benefits, but have no idea how to apply to Mr Bon Jovi and others. Embarasassing enough, 1st time in my life we have to ask for assistance, but everywhere we turn its a roadblock. Thank you to the FOP for helping out a little. That will not be forgotten.
