I am actually kind of sad... I just called my Dentist too make an appt. for a cleaning... I was used to the receptionist. just taking My name and telling Me to come in.... this time She said.. OK Your appt. will be such and such a day... with.. Susan.... i said but I always have Carol.... there was a pause.... and She said... Carol passed.. I knew what She said but... not sure I said Carol died ??.. after a brief pause She said yes...I did not what to say... I said umm sorry I did not know... when? last March...I had only been there in Feb. and Carol a yr or so older than Me...48... looked fine... She was a free spirit.. loved to go on cruises... played music during my semi-annual blood letting as I called the cleanings...She always told Me shut up and sit down...when I told Her not to hurt me....I started going to this Dentist while I was in the Academy... and Carol was always there... a couple of root canals.. cavities etc... but always a free spirit who broke My balls and told Me to sit down... I would see Her at the local Dunkin Donuts...She knew I was a Cop...and say oh What a cooincedence a Cop at Dunkin Donuts.....And I would tell Her I was scared She would hurt Me... There are people in Your life who although You only see once in a while but too Me She was a good person and I will miss Her Rip. Carol... and let the Led Zeppelin music play as You are cleaning teeth in heaven.....
